The Lichtenberg Foundation - Purpose & Objectives
The Court of Lichtenberg and its Protectors, Teutonic Knights of Charlemagne and Barbarossa, who later served under Richard The Lionheart - King Richard the Ist now have their place in History across 1,200 summers, with the Lichtenberg Foundation.
The objective behind this endeavour, was to create a Humanitarian and Philanthropic Icon, one which would shine like a Beacon, to Illuminate and Pierce, the Darkness of Human inequality.
Modern Lichtenberg is a Principality without land, in the style of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta ‘SMOM’ in Italy. We are confident the Lichtenberg Foundation is destined to become one of the greatest modern era thrusts of global philanthropy, the world will ever see.
Lichtenberg has been reconstituted as a Constitutional Sovereignty, enjoying global protectorate status as a Foundation in law. Lichtenberg has full time chancery or representative offices in Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia. We seek people worldwide to join our endeavours supporting us and other worthwhile Philanthropic organisations, such as the Gates Foundation, UN Foundation, Save the Children, World Vision, and give their voice in support also to the World Challenge Fund, The International Red Cross, St John Ambulance Service etal and help reverse the ravages of poverty and inequality in the world.

Lichtenberg's worthy aims and goals, began to gather momentum, following after businessman philanthropist Warren Buffet elected to place the incredibly vast sum of US$ 37 Billion with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Governments, United Nations, etc cannot do it alone and we salute Mr Ted Turner for his US$ 1 billion donation to the UN and Mr and Mrs Gates of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Mr Warren Buffet for their commitment to philanthropy

They issued a call to arms and a challenge to ordinary private people, to help bring about a solution to this major problem and one successive World Governments have failed to overcome, elimination of Third World poverty. Lichtenberg joins with them in this quest challenging others to take up this mantle. We Salute Mr Buffet, Mr and Mrs Gates and others in taking this stand, for this problem must be tackled NOW. Post 9/11 studies show, the link between poverty and infiltration by Terrorist organisations and as stated before, Lichtenberg stands against - Terrorism and all its abhorrent Hatred of Humanity, because it is evil.

Someone must make a start in support of those who have already begun, because it needs more than just Gates Foundation and Warren Buffet, Lichtenberg Foundation or Ted Turner and others. The post 9/11 world is a far cry from the years 800 or 1200, 1700 or 1800, or more recently, the 1940's 1950's, or 1960's and as we embark on this journey.
